Turn Scripture Into Prayers

man-praying-bible-bsm-667x476One of the first ways I learned to pray was to turn Scripture into a prayer. Yesterday I wrote about “How to Pray When You Don’t Know What to Say.” Today I thought I would offer a weeks worth of prayer. I want to challenge you to read each scripture and then pray accordingly. Let me know how your journey is going in the comments below.

Wednesday: Read Psalm 130 then Pray for your church.

Thursday: Read 1 John 4:7-16 then Pray for the salvation of lost friends and relatives.

Friday: Read Proverbs 19 then Pray for our political leaders.

Saturday: Read Philippians 2:1-12 then Pray for revival in our church and nation.

Sunday: Read Philippians 4:4-8 then Pray that God would speak to you through today’s worship service.

Monday: Read Mark 1:14-20 then Pray for your family.

Tuesday: Read Matthew 6:25-34 then Pray for people you go to school or work with.
